You might be here because…

Access to Work feels important, but also overwhelming.

Maybe you’ve opened the application more than once and closed it again because:

  • You don’t know what wording to use

  • You’re worried about getting something wrong

  • You’re unsure what support you’re allowed to ask for

  • You’re afraid of being misunderstood, dismissed, or told you don’t qualify

  • The process feels confusing, it’s full of unknowns, and so much is at stake

It’s not that you’re not capable, but that the system isn’t built with neurodivergent communication styles, processing needs, or emotional load in mind.

And that can make the whole thing feel like too much.

This consultation is for you if:

  • You haven’t applied yet and want help before you start

  • You tried to begin but got stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed

  • You want to understand the full process before submitting

  • You want support with wording your needs clearly and confidently

  • You need guidance on timelines, expectations, and what comes next

If you’re thinking, “I know something needs to change, I just don’t know how to ask for it”, this session is for you.

How this helps

In our session, we take the uncertainty out of Access to Work so you can:

  • Understand exactly how the process works

  • Know what support you can request and why

  • Translate your lived experience into clear, relevant wording

  • Prepare confidently without guessing or second-guessing

  • Move forward instead of feeling stuck or overwhelmed

By the end, you’ll feel grounded, informed, and ready. Goodbye, feeling rushed or confused!

What we’ll do together

During a one-hour consultation, we will:

  • Explore your work, needs, challenges, and strengths

  • Identify the support options Access to Work can offer that may be suitable for you

  • Clarify timelines, next steps, and what to expect at each stage

  • Talk through any questions or uncertainties you have

  • Begin shaping how to communicate your needs clearly and effectively

This is a collaborative conversation, which means you don’t need to prepare or have the “right words”.

We can uncover them together.
